A moment on the river

I went to a wedding for a friend of mine in Deep River, Ontario this weekend. Great times and greater weather were had! It was supposed to rain all day long, and for a beach wedding, that is some pretty bad news. So the fateful day arrived with warnings of thundershowers throughout the afternoon. Not only was there no rain, (not even a drop) there was a breeze and that meant no bugs! I really loved the serenity of the surroundings, so right after the ceremony, I had a chance to pull out the camera and get a good shot.

On a side note: Rest of the evening went well, got drunk at a local legion hall, and camped on a beach! Love summer!! Love it!

Cheers,

Lights and Blue

I really liked this shot. It took my quite some time to get the right one, but I think it turned out ok. I know I said I was going to start posting more, and now with a new camera I really should be, but it really seems like time is just flying by these days. I spend every free minute I have with taking or setting up or thinking about the next picture I want to try out!

Thanks for reading anyway!

Some of the best photography ever!

so you have to go and check out BLDG BLOG. I like to check it out from time to time as I am a big fan of architecture, and the blog is written very well. So today it was linked from Boing Boing and I am hoping that a lot of new readers will visit it! The blog is http://bldgblog.blogspot.com/ and the particular post which I fell in love with is http://bldgblog.blogspot.com/2008/06/pandemonium.html

From the BLDG BLOG "Some of the coolest photographs I've seen recently are these long exposure shots of crowds in St. Petersburg, Russia. They were taken by Alexey Titarenko for a project called "City of Shadows." "

AMAZING!!

Check it out!
